Everybody’s Doing It

Ok…I know that practically every blog, magazine, tabloid, and home is talking about the Royal Wedding…but why not? Weddings are great, and I love love, so I’m gonna talk about it too! Or rather show you a few pics that I found so precious. Enjoy!

And the Bishop of London preached a great sermon, beginning with these words, “‘Be who God meant you to be and you will set the world on fire.’ So said St Catherine of Siena whose festival day it is today. Marriage is intended to be a way in which man and woman help each other to become what God meant each one to be, their deepest and truest selves.“

Snapshots of Christmas

Almost everything Josie got for Christmas was something that had to do with Toy Story. She’d been begging my mom for a Buzz and a Rex. When she opened Buzz she exclaimed, “Buzz is the best present ever!” Notice the pajamas and Evil Mr. Pork-Chop as well.

Willamette Invitational

Today I raced what felt like the best race of my life but then I didn’t PR…so that becomes a frustrating feeling. My time was 20:42 and I finished 5th on our team, 138 out of 239. I did race faster than our last meet at OIT, so that’s a good sign! Here’s some fun pictures!

This Is What I Miss…

A Picture Is Worth A Thousand Words



On Sunday was Corban’s beach party at Bob Straub St. Park in Pacific City. (This is the same beach my family and I have been to several times and Jason got to join us there last Christmas!) It was a great day for being at the beach, until like 5:30pm when the fog rolled in and we had to stand in line for over an hour for dinner! All in all it was enjoyable but I REALLY missed Jason!!

On Saturday Kate and I went to the Portland Market and Voodoo Donuts with some girls. It was a beautifully sunny day and we had a lot of fun! Voodoo Donuts wasn’t all that it’s cracked up to be though…I wasn’t impressed. That night Kate and I joined Alethea for a Catholic Mass at a church in Portland. It was an interesting experience…most of it was in Latin! And there was a beautiful sounding choir that sang Gregorian chants!
